About MGEF

The Maasai Girls Education Fund (MGEF) is an organization founded in 2000, to increase the literacy, health and economic wellbeing of Maasai women in Kenya. MGEF is based in Washington DC and works with an independent Community Based Organization in Kenya (Kajiado) to achieve its goals.

Each year, they hold a week long program at KCH during the school break, using their dormitories to bring in girls from near and far! It’s a wonderful and busy week at KCH.
