Welcome to

HOPE FOR KAJIADO

Kenya is home to multiple generations of vulnerable children created by poverty, abuse and disease, including HIV/AIDS and other non-communicable diseases. At Hope for Kajiado, we believe every child deserves hope, regardless of the environment they were born into… HOPE for loving care, a quality education and medical care. Together, we can provide the tools necessary to break the chains of their past and create their own futures.

Children need love, a quality education, medical care when needed, shelter and food. Here is where you can make the difference on the world stage. We have watched many of these children grow up, expand their horizons, become responsible citizens, and return to KCH to help mentor the younger children. We hope you will join us in providing HOPE to these children. Their future depends on your compassion.

Organizations supported by HFK are located in Kajiado County, Kenya, East Africa. (Kajiado County is the approximate size of the state of New Jersey.) These organizations include Kajiado Children’s Home (KCH), Valley School of Excellence (KVSE) and Bright Horizons Project (BHP), all based in Kajiado. In addition, HFK supports Namanga Hope Center (NHC) based in Namanga, Kenya. Hope for Kajiado provides grants and oversight of your financial support to these reputable organizations. They work closely with Kenya Child Services to ensure the children helped are the most desperate in need. It all began in 1997, with a group of churches raising funds and providing materials through the founder of Kajiado Children’s Home (KCH).  Hope for Kajiado was formed in 2014 as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization to coordinate and expand needed support, as well as implement a grant process according to IRS regulations. Since then, we have received monthly reports showing how these funds are utilized.

Why support Hope for Kajiado? Our board of directors are made up of a group of dedicated volunteers.  A small group of designated donors cover the minimal cost of operation so that 100% of your support goes straight to the mission of creating a brighter future for these kids.
There is room for you on our team and in the hearts of these children.  We hope you will join us.
