Namanga Hope Center

Namanga Hope Centre is an organization established in Namanga, Kenya (1.5 hour drive south from KCH on the Tanzania border). It’s mission is to provide love and hope to orphans, vulnerable children, the needy and the elderly and to assist with their educational and health needs.

In 2024, Hope For Kajiado approved the first grant for Namanga Hope Center (NHC). This organization reflects a proof-source of the impact that Kajiado Children’s Home has on children growing up there. How? Namanga Hope Center (NHC) was founded by Richard Nyinge, an alumni of KCH who was admitted in 1997 as a six-year-old orphan. He received nurturing at KCH throughout his childhood. His sponsor remained active in his life, assisting in his educational goals to attain a Masters degree in Divinity. Richard is now senior pastor of his church in Namanga, Kenya.

We were pleased to provide a grant to support the amazing work being done in their area to make a difference in the life of vulnerable children. This grant assisted in providing clothing, food and school fees for over 85 vulnerable children in Namanga and remote villages. NHC continues to provides food staples for more than twenty families living in abject poverty in the local area. They also plan child mentorship programs focused on life teachings, education, distribution of clothes, games and bible study to enrich their faith.

Richard visits KCH often. He and his friends provide mentorship to KCH secondary and post-secondary students as they navigate their pathways to further education or entrepreneurship.

We hope you will join us in supporting Namanga Hope Center as they expand their services to the vulnerable in their community.
