HFK works closely with a local Board of Management, associated with Kajiado Children’s Home, as well as with their Board of Trustees.

• Joseph Mugo, Treasurer – local business owner and land surveyor

• Ruth Mbuguah, Secretary – Administrator of KCH

• Elizabeth Thogo – Nurse, Kajiado County Referral Hospital, Kajiado

• Isaac Kool – Alumnus of KCH, Bursement Department, Kajiado County Government Office, Owner of Nosim Eco Travel

• Ziporrah Sawaina – Alumnus of KCH, Senior public Relations Officer at National Council for Population and Development

• Titus Naikuni – Retired, Group Managing Director & CEO, Kenya Airways Limited

KCH Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees manages the property ownership of the home.

Members include:

• Rev. James Kariuki, Insinya – Kenya business owner

• Catherine Kitonde, Alumnus – grew up at KCH, professor at University of Nairobi. She received her PhD in Biological Sciences in September 2019, and was recipient of 2013 Fellow Award under African Women in Agricultural Research and Development program

• Rev. Jason Lemooke, Insinya, Kenya – retired Administrator at KCH

• Jodi Hummer, Sante Fe, NM – owner of Caldera Coaching. LLC.

• David Lyerly, Charlotte, NC – VP Operational Risk at Wells Fargo

• Mark Tucker, Charlotte, NC – Remote Inventory Manager at Safe-T Shade
