Water, the basic need for life. We can’t survive without it, and yet until 2015, KCH used limited rain water and spent over $8,000 USD per year for water. Providing a well not only supplied water for cooking and bathing, but it also had a wonderful difference in the number of crops they could grow in the garden. They still collect rainfall in their underground holding tanks to help supplement water from the well.
